Thirty years ago, the Big Pine Key branch of Monroe County Public Library was formally established. And what a thirty years it has been! It is both our honor and privilege to serve the residents of Monroe County (and Big Pine in particular).

In the summer of 1962, a group of preteen boys spend their time playing baseball. When the ball one day goes into the yard of an infamous English Mastiff, they’re forced to find other ways to spend their time.
