Self-expression through art is an important part of human nature. You don’t have to be in art school, or create marble sculptures, or create realistic paintings to be an artist.

Mahjong is played at the library on Tuesdays from 10AM until Noon in the community room on the first floor. This community led group welcomes all skill levels! 

Playing Mahjong has several benefits such as:

Join Miss Kaleila weekly in the Children’s Section for stories, activities, and crafts!

Visit the Library on Tuesdays & Thursday at 10:30am for Story Time! Dance, sing, and listen to stories that will help young children develop and grow, then take time for group play and a craft. Ages 0-5.

Join us every other Tuesday at 1 PM for crazy crafty fun!

Benefits of Crafting for Adults:

The most-requested activity has finally come to Big Pine Library: we're making slime! We've got the materials, coloring agents, and add-ins - all you need to bring is your enthusiasm!
