Photography Basics: Take Better Pictures

Let off STEAM after school every Friday at 3:30 PM! Lots of fun activities and learning opportunities for school age kids! 

Join us every Saturday for Magic the Gathering card game in the Activity Center. Ages 14+

This summer join in on our Once Upon A Time Summer Reading weekly grab and go challenges! To participate you can come in all week long and grab a bag with all the materials to make that week's challenge.

Fun with Legos!  Mondays 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM in the Activity Center come do your own thing or join in on the weekly challenges!

Advantages of playing with Legos

Self-expression through art is an important part of human nature. You don’t have to be in art school, or create marble sculptures, or create realistic paintings to be an artist.

Mahjong is played at the library on Tuesdays from 10AM until noon in the community room on the first floor. The group welcomes all skill levels! 

Playing Mahjong has several benefits such as:

Join us for stories, songs and activities for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers.

The next program for Summer Reading has Kelly visiting us from the Marathon Wild Bird Center on Thursday, June 26th at 10:30 AM.  Kelly will tell us all the amazing work that the Marathon Wild Bird Center does for our community and hopefully

The library offers fun events all summer long to keep families reading. It is a community tradition that promotes reading for fun and lifelong enrichment.

Windell Campbell brings his lively story telling program to the Marathon Library on July 3rd at 10:30AM.  As a retired schoolteacher he mixes storytelling and puppets bringing the stories to life, this is an event you do not want to miss!
