Self-expression through art is an important part of human nature. You don’t have to be in art school, or create marble sculptures, or create realistic paintings to be an artist.

Mahjong is played at the library on Tuesdays from 10AM until Noon in the community room on the first floor. This community led group welcomes all skill levels! 

Playing Mahjong has several benefits such as:

Join Miss Kaleila weekly in the Children’s Section for stories, activities, and crafts!

Visit the Library on Tuesdays & Thursday at 10:30am for Story Time! Dance, sing, and listen to stories that will help young children develop and grow, then take time for group play and a craft. Ages 0-5.

Join us every other Tuesday at 1 PM for crazy crafty fun!

Islamorada library will offer tech support and information about the library system at the JOY Center. Come learn more about your tech, your library, and all the community resources available to you. 

Join us in the children's department for a Cinco de Mayo celebration through craft! Make art inspired by traditional Mexican crafts like Huichol yarn painting, hojalata (tin art), and God's eyes.

Fun with Legos has moved to Tuesdays 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM in the Activity Center!  Come make your own creation or join in on the weekly challenges!
