Self-expression through art is an important part of human nature. You don’t have to be in art school, or create marble sculptures, or create realistic paintings to be an artist.

Craft and create community at the Key Largo Library! Most Fridays our Sit ‘N Sew group meets in the Community Room to sew and share ideas. You are welcome to join our community of crafters! Bring your sewing machine and your current project.

3D Printing Mondays from 10AM until Noon come in to learn about 3D printing.

Join us every Wednesday from 10am-noon for a new craft. All tools and materials provided.

Unleash your creativity with Planter Pals - adult craft fun where participants can design and decorate clay pots with character! Supplies are limited. Register at the library.

Join us for a paint by numbers class at the Key West Library! All supplies will be provided. Adults only.

Sewing from a Pattern Fridays 11AM-1PM

Sewing for Ages 18 and up

Bring a pattern, material, and sewing machine, the library has a limited supply.

*REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED*

Come in and work on a prepared project or bring your own. Fun begins as we brainstorm, design, visit and craft. Can’t finish one of the prepared projects in one sitting? Leave it and return the next week to work on it again.

This art class will include birds, fish, marine mammals and more as we create an expansive mural with acrylic paints to be included in the March Art Exhibit in the Key Largo Library’s Community Room. All supplies provided. Max 20.

Join us on Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m. to Crochet for a Cause - we're making baby blankets for the Lower Keys Medical Center Maternity Ward. Knitters welcome!

Join us on the second Thursday each month for our Adult Crafternoon! Crafts to expect: candle making, air-dry clay mosaics, Mason jar bird feeders, shell and sea glass dioramas, and that’s just to start!

Everyone knows you should have more fiber in your life - join us on Saturday afternoons for knitting, crocheting, and embroidery.

Fun with Legos!  Mondays 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM in the Activity Center come do your own thing or join in on the weekly challenges!

Don't miss out on the crafting fun and get ready to spread some love this Valentine’s Day!  All materials will be provided – just bring your imagination and creativity! For Ages 6-11.

2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from 3:00-5:00 pm. Ages: 6-12

Kids can scout for badges, fun and learning at the Key West Library.

Join us at 3:30 PM, in the Activity Center for our kids & teen crafts and activities.

Drop in to participate in art activities to be completed in one sitting or over a longer period. There is something for all ages that will inspire children to think creatively and tap into their hidden inspiration as they color their world.

Let off STEAM after school every Friday at 3:30 PM! Lots of fun activities and learning opportunities for school age kids!  The last Friday of the month STEAM will be making SLIME!
