Craft and create community at the Key Largo Library! Most Fridays our Sit ‘N Sew group meets in the Community Room to sew and share ideas. You are welcome to join our community of crafters! Bring your sewing machine and your current project.

Calling all Artists, new and experienced! Bring in items you are working on and help each other during this fun afternoon program.

Tools to Quit is a group designed to address all aspects of nicotine addiction, in addition to helping people develop a quit plan and identify a quit date. This group addressed psychological and behavioral dependence.

In this exciting hands-on learning experience, students will dive into the fundamental concepts of force and motion by building their own chain reactions!

Stop in for help downloading library apps to your smart phone or tablet. Learn how to download ebooks and audiobooks, and learn how to stream movies from Kanopy, too. Basic computer help is also available. Bring your device and questions.

The Small Business Development Center at FIU offers no-cost consulting at the Key Largo Library every Wednesday 2-5PM except the 4th Wednesday of the month.

STEAM: Whirligig Wonders 

Have you seen a whirligig?  Not the beetle, but the whimsical toy?  Let’s make some together and learn about the physics of the motion. 

All supplies provided. 

Ages 6+ 

Conch Shell Blowing Class presented by Karen Beal and Wavy Davy. Develop the skills to blow the conch shell and enjoy the majestic, calming tones it creates. Sponsored by Shell World. Conch shell provided, max 15 participants.
