Self-expression through art is an important part of human nature. You don’t have to be in art school, or create marble sculptures, or create realistic paintings to be an artist.

Craft and create community at the Key Largo Library! Most Fridays our Sit ‘N Sew group meets in the Community Room to sew and share ideas. You are welcome to join our community of crafters! Bring your sewing machine and your current project.

3D Printing Mondays from 10AM until Noon come in to learn about 3D printing.

Join us every Wednesday from 10am-noon for a new craft. All tools and materials provided.

Paint ceramics with us at the Key West Library! All supplies will be provided. Adults only.

In March, we'll paint eggshell-shaped planters!

Join us the first and last Saturdays of each month at 11am for Bullet Journaling! A bullet journal is a DIY planner, habit tracker, journal, scrapbook - whatever you want it to be! It's a creative way to keep organized and motivated.

Come in and work on a prepared project or bring your own. Fun begins as we brainstorm, design, visit and craft. Can’t finish one of the prepared projects in one sitting? Leave it and return the next week to work on it again.

What’s Outdoor Explorers?? Outdoor Explorers is Library Scouts 2.0! Let’s read, let’s get outside, let’s learn!

We have weekly grab-and-go activities as well as badges for completing the Outdoor Explorers booklet – come get yours today!

Join us on Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m. to Crochet for a Cause - we're making baby blankets for the Lower Keys Medical Center Maternity Ward. Knitters welcome!

Everyone knows you should have more fiber in your life - join us on Saturday afternoons for knitting, crocheting, and embroidery.

Fun with Legos!  Mondays 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM in the Activity Center come do your own thing or join in on the weekly challenges!

Advantages of playing with Legos

2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from 3:00-5:00 pm. Ages: 6-12

Kids can scout for badges, fun and learning at the Key West Library.

Join us at 3:30 PM, in the Activity Center for our kids & teen crafts and activities.

Drop in to participate in art activities to be completed in one sitting or over a longer period. There is something for all ages that will inspire children to think creatively and tap into their hidden inspiration as they color their world.

Let off STEAM after school every Friday at 3:30 PM! Lots of fun activities and learning opportunities for school age kids!  The last Friday of the month STEAM will be making SLIME!

STEAM: Whirligig Wonders 

Have you seen a whirligig?  Not the beetle, but the whimsical toy?  Let’s make some together and learn about the physics of the motion.

As parents and caregivers of our community's future leaders, we sometimes need to find a little light. Join us as we paint wine bottles with cork lights. Find some inspiration and spend time talking with other adults!
