This summer join in on our Once Upon A Time Summer Reading weekly grab and go challenges! To participate you can come in all week long and grab a bag with all the materials to make that week's challenge.

Self-expression through art is an important part of human nature. You don’t have to be in art school, or create marble sculptures, or create realistic paintings to be an artist.

Craft and create community at the Key Largo Library! Most Fridays our Sit ‘N Sew group meets in the Community Room to sew and share ideas. You are welcome to join our community of crafters! Bring your sewing machine and your current project.

June 7-30 Art Exhibit: Gloria Avner, Key Largo painter and poet. Her batik artworks have won prizes and ribbons in art shows in South Florida and coastal Maine, where she spends her summer.

Join us every Wednesday from 10am-noon for a new craft. All tools and materials provided.

The library offers fun events all summer long to keep families reading. It is a community tradition that promotes reading for fun and lifelong enrichment.

Come learn about corals with MOTE Marine Lab! Enjoy an Introduction to Corals with an accompanying art craft.

Join us at the library every Saturday during June and July for a Summer Reading event! 

Come in and work on a prepared project or bring your own. Fun begins as we brainstorm, design, visit and craft. Can’t finish one of the prepared projects in one sitting? Leave it and return the next week to work on it again.

What’s Outdoor Explorers?? Outdoor Explorers is Library Scouts 2.0! Let’s read, let’s get outside, let’s learn!

We have weekly grab-and-go activities as well as badges for completing the Outdoor Explorers booklet – come get yours today!

First Monday of each month, Kaleila will be hosting Bullet Journaling workshops! Whether you're just getting started or looking for inspiration, come work on your bullet journal with us.

A calming jar (also called calm-down jar, mind jar, glitter jar, and calm bottle) is a simple, effective sensory tool that can be used to redirect attention, encourage reflection, and effect a sense of calm.

Drop in to participate in art activities to be completed in one sitting or over a longer period. There is something for all ages that will inspire children to think creatively and tap into their hidden inspiration as they color their world.

Let off STEAM after school every Friday at 3:30 PM! Lots of fun activities and learning opportunities for school age kids!
